Rain on the Roof

I want a house where I can hear rain on the roof from every room. Not a mansion, just built right. Nash would have his own door to the backyard. The kitchen would be the biggest room because that's where everyone ends up anyway. Somewhere you'd walk in and just feel like sitting down.
